1. Description:
Heat Transfer oil S2 is a mineral-based heat transfer oil product with a high heat transfer coefficient, which can work in the temperature range of 320°C – 340°C. Shell Transfer oil S2 uses advanced blending technology using carefully selected premium base oils with a diverse additive system that is both heat-resistant, anti-rust and anti-corrosion, giving the product superior features.

2. Advantages:

The oil’s service life is extended thanks to being formulated with selected additives, which are anti-oxidation, anti-cracking, and ensure effective heat transfer.

High thermal stability and flash point make Shell Heat Transfer oil S2 capable of transferring heat in continuous equipment at high temperatures with a maximum oil film temperature of 340 °C and a maximum oil bath temperature of 320 °C

Shell Heat Transfer oil S2 has excellent anti-wear properties, which reduces the formation of deposits.

3. Applications:

Shell Heat Transfer oil S2 is the optimal choice for most closed heat transfer systems without air contact in the processing industry, chemical plants, textile, wood, paper, plastic, cement, asphalt cooking and oil-cooled equipment.

Used for heat exchangers, heat supply systems, air conditioning, warehouse temperature control, heat exchangers, used for hot bath systems of boilers, reactors, autoclaves, injection molding machines.
